In a working studio, the way a workstation is designed makes a big difference in how smoothly that studio runs. Connections need to be accessible, cables need to be managed, and the layout has to accommodate the way you work. The RAB Audio STUDIO 2 Workstation brings those practical priorities together in a refined, straight-desk design. With 20U of integrated rack space, removable access doors, integrated cable routing, and a generous work surface, the STUDIO 2 is designed to make your studio run smoother. Solid walnut accents, a bolstered armrest, and a lifetime warranty complete the package.

Designed for Easier Gear Access

Installing outboard equipment is one thing. Reaching it again when you need to replace a unit, change a connection, or troubleshoot a signal path is another. STUDIO 2 has removable front and rear doors on the sidecar bays, along with lower access doors, so you can get to the equipment and connections behind the work surface without fighting the furniture.

Keep Cables Under Control

Cable management capabilities can make or break a desk. The STUDIO 2 includes thoughtfully designed internal cable routing and passthroughs, while the 2-inch grommets in the work surface accommodate connections from desktop equipment. The result is a more organized setup that is easier to maintain as your studio changes.

20U Within Your Workstation

Two angled 8U rack bays put frequently used processors, interfaces, and other rackmount equipment alongside your main work area. A separate 4U bay beneath the work surface adds capacity for additional gear. With 16.713 inches of equipment clearance in the angled bays, STUDIO 2 gives you meaningful rack capacity in a straightforward workstation layout.

Space for the Work Itself

STUDIO 2 provides a broad 75.25-inch by 31.75-inch work surface, with 30 inches of width between the sidecars for the primary working area. The 71.25-inch bolstered armrest includes a padded front section to provide a more comfortable place to work through long sessions.

When Final Track Studios was ready for a reset, Skip Brown wasn't simply looking for a new studio desk.
